Car Vacuum Cleaners
Car vacuum cleaners are small, portable and usually hand held, mini vacuums, that are used to keep your car clean. These car cleaning tools are both convenient and useful. Over time you may notice that your car has become quite dirty.
This can happen for a number of reasons. Maybe you are short on time, always rushing. You don’t have time to eat breakfast, so you grab a snack and eat on the way to work. Children are another, rather common cause, of messy cars. No matter what the reason, car vacuum cleaners can help you keep your car free of dirt and crumbs. You can easily grab your portable vacuum and clean up messes that would otherwise be almost impossible to contain.
There are three types of vacuums that are made for your car. You can either choose from a battery powered cleaner or one that has a cord. Once you know whether or not you want a cord operated or a cordless vacuum, you can decide if you will need a car vacuum that can handle wet spills. Vacuums that can be used to clean up wet messes are called wet/dry vacuums.
Cord operated car vacuums are powered by your 12 volt cigarette lighter socket. These vacuums are not very powerful but can be effective in cleaning the small messes that will usually occur inside of your car. There is one draw back to using these particular vacuums, aside from the lack of power, and that is that you are limited. You can only clean areas that you can reach. These car vacuum cleaners can only go as far as their cords will take them, so to speak.
Cordless car vacuums will usually be a bit more powerful then those that need to be plugged in. There is a big advantage to using these vacuums and that is that you can clean any area in your car with ease. This includes the back seats and even the trunk. There is no need to worry, these cleaners are cordless and can be brought anywhere. The down side to using a vacuum that can not be directly connected to a power source is that they constantly need to be charged. This means that you can not just leave the vacuum in your car, it must be brought indoors to its charger on a regular basis. These vacuums usually have a very short battery life. Even if you are not using the cleaner, its battery will drain over time.
Once you have figured out which type of car vacuum cleaner you will be purchasing, you will have to decide whether or not you want to spend a little extra money on one that can be used to clean up wet spills. Personally, I would go with the wet/dry car vacuum. You never know when you are going to spill that cup of coffee, which has happened to me quite a few times, or when your child is going to empty out their juice cup all over the back seat. By purchasing a wet/dry vacuum you are sure that you will be able to easily clean up any type of mess.
You can get a car vacuum cleaner at most appliance retail stores. These cleaning machines are not overly expensive and will make keeping your car clean much easier. You can purchase these vacuums from a great deal of popular manufacturers. Brands like Dirt Devil, Bissell, Hoover and Dyson all make small versions of their vacuums. These are all quality brands that will be sure to last you a long time. You can buy a car vacuum cleaner for $40 to $100, depending on what it is you are looking for. This is well worth the investment and will help you to maintain your car and keep it looking clean from the inside out.
